Tanya earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Arizona in 2000 and subsequently worked as a contract investigator for the federal government for several years. In 2006, she completed a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Arizona State University. Since this time, she has worked in the social service and mental health fields, focusing her practice on empowering vulnerable populations, including children in out-of-home placement, economically disadvantaged parents, individuals with psychiatric needs, and justice-involved adults. She completed a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2015 at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Tanya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She is expecting to earn a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University by 2025.
